CryptoGPT Legal

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information CryptoGPT collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This document is an operational first version and should be reviewed before broader customer launch.

Effective date: March 11, 2026

1. What CryptoGPT Does

CryptoGPT is an AI-powered crypto information product. It provides chat, account features, subscription features, and product emails. It is not intended to act as a wallet, exchange, broker, or custodian.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, and login data.
  • Subscription and billing metadata associated with paid plans.
  • Chat prompts, requests, and product interaction data.
  • Operational logs such as IP address, user agent, and request metadata.
  • Security and audit records used to keep the service reliable.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create and manage accounts.
  • To deliver the service and respond to requests.
  • To process subscriptions and billing events.
  • To send transactional emails such as verification and alerts.
  • To detect abuse, investigate incidents, and maintain security.

4. Vendors and Service Providers

CryptoGPT uses third-party providers to run the product. Based on the current live system, those providers may include:

Vendor and subprocessor review is tracked internally by the operator. If you have a privacy question, contact [email protected].

5. Payments

CryptoGPT uses Stripe for payment processing. Payment card details should be collected and processed by Stripe or Stripe-managed workflows rather than stored directly by CryptoGPT. CryptoGPT may store billing-related metadata such as customer IDs, subscription status, and webhook event results.

6. AI and Chat Content

Prompts and generated outputs may be processed by third-party model providers in order to deliver the service. Do not submit confidential secrets, payment card numbers, private keys, or other highly sensitive information unless and until CryptoGPT explicitly states that such inputs are supported.

7. Storage and Security

The current product stores core account and session records in local encrypted application storage and maintains security and audit artifacts used for product operations. We use technical safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention

Specific retention periods are still being formalized. Until that schedule is finalized, data may be retained for as long as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, or to comply with legal obligations.

9. Your Requests and Choices

If you want to request access, correction, deletion, or clarification about your information, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. International Transfers and Legal Review

CryptoGPT may rely on service providers that process data in multiple jurisdictions. Vendor contracts, transfer terms, and compliance review are still being finalized as part of customer-readiness work.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
